Casa Excelente - Excelente Vacation Casa in Tulum, Mexico

This Excelente vacation rental is located in Tulum, Mexico, with Pool, Outdoor Patio, close to the beach/downtown area and great for divers. 

Description

This "Excelente Casa" is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom vacation rental by owner (VRBO) casa is fully equipped and comfortable for 6-8 guests and is a dream for vacationers. Located close to the downtown Tulum (1 km) and the beaches (3 km), yet is located in a secure private residential neighborhood with a common area pool, palapa and playground. Truely a perfect location for families, travelers and scuba divers looking to enjoy all of what the area has to offer. An easy Taxi Ride or Bicycle Ride to either.

The Space

Downstairs:
The downstairs has comfortable large living room with futon couch, TV entertainment center, a large dining room with a table for 5, and a fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities. It also has a single bedroom with twin bed, and a 1/2 bathroom.

Upstairs:
The upstairs has the beautiful master bedroom with a king bed, TV, cabinets, an attached private full bathroom, shower and balcony,. Also upstairs is a third bedroom with two (2) twin beds, cabinets and a full bathroom and shower.

Back Patio:
The large, private, seculded back patio is a dream to enjoy some outdoor entertainment with night lights, a private palapa, garden table and chairs, a sink for washing beach toys and swimming suits, hose for rinsing scuba diving equipment, and an area for drying your swim suits, wetsuits, towels and so on. The back patio also a work bench/charging station for charging lights, cameras and other tems, as well as a storage area for scuba diving equipment and our on hand scuba diving spares kits.

Other Considerations:

- All Bedrooms and Living rooms are equipped with air condition and ceiling fans with lights.

- We do provide all linens, towels, beach towels and shampoo, condiitioners and soap.

- The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a great meal including a coffee pot, kettle, blender, microwave, stove, oven and a large fridge with ice trays.

- The casa does have a washer / spin dryer in case you feel the need.

- Also we have an entertainment system that consists of TV set, SAT receiver, BLU-RAY/DVD player, FREE WIFI internet, sound dock, external disc with tourist instruction videos and music.

- The casa (master bedroom) does have an Electronic Safe for storage of your valuable incase.

- This casa is perfect for scuba divers as it is ground floor and you can back your car up to the front door, bringing your equipment to the back patio for washing, drying and storage. As well as we can support sll scuba diving activities and any issues that may arise with your equipment.

Guest access:

Car Parking:
This vacation casa in located inside the gated community, so it is very safe. The neighborhood is family oreintated, so please drive crefully when entering the complex. You can park your car in the driveway right in front of the house and/or 70'/20m away in the cul de sac in front of the pool area.

Common Area:
The common area, 70' / 20m away, does have a big pool with a deep end and shallow end for children. There is palapa, outdoor BBQ and a childrens playground.

Everything is accessible. We do not live there.

Interaction with guests

This a vacation casa, we do not live here. Casa Excelente is managed by Belen, who speaks English and Spanish and lives with her family in the same community. She will be glad to assist you during your stay in Tulum. Belen is licensed physiotherapist and can provide you the deep tissue massage and Swedish massage.

We offer a significant number of amenities and conveniences for you to enjoy a wonderful getaway. There is something for everyone at this house!

Please Note:

1. We require that you read and sign our Vacation Rental Agreement.  This is located on our  website ( http://www.calivrbo.com/form/display/79/ ) or Mobile App (Search Cali VRBO  LLC.) It does require that you create a separate login account and that you enter your information which will then be automatically added to your Vacation Rental Agreement.

2. We do require that ALL vacation renters provide a credit card for the security/damage deposit “Hold.”  Much like a hotel, we will NOT charge your credit card but simply place a $500 hold on your credit card upon your check in to the vacation rental. Once you check out and there are no damages or other charges the funds will be released. You will be required to provide the credit card number while completing your Vacation Rental Agreement.


Other things to note

Rule #1:
"Mi casa es su casa." Please enjoy your stay but RESPECT THE PROPERTY AND OUR NEIGHBORS. Enjoy yourselves responsibly. Please keep group gatherings reasonable in size and noise level. Tulum, Mexico has a 10 pm NOISE CURFEW which must be obeyed. We do not allow "Special Events". So backyard weddings or parties. For this purpose and your safety and assurance we do have an OUTDOOR ONLY camera to monitor the premises.

Rule #2.
We do monitor the number of overnight guests and the prices are based on a daily rate for the number of guests. Please try to be accurate when you are making your reservation. If you book and end up with more or fewer guests than expected, just let know prior and we can bill you for more or refund for less. If you are unsure of how many guests you will have each night, we encourage you to book with the minimum number of guests (1) through this site. Once booked and you get closer to the trip and you have a better or exact number of guests for each night, we will settle up through our website. This is very important because our cleaning costs vary with the number of people who stay in the casa.

Rule #3.
NO SMOKING and NO PETS inside the house or Patio. We do allow smoking and pets outside, if you are diligent in picking up after yourself and them. There is an additional $125 pet fee. We will occasionally make exceptions if you must have a pet inside the home at night. The pet must remain in a crate when inside the home. Please let us know that you wish to do this ahead of time.
